About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, manage, and oversee the affiliate’s integrated behavioral health program
Provide direct patient care in-person and via telehealth
Work with licensed and non-licensed medical staff to assess, treat, and refer patients
Collaborate with the Clinical Services team on behavioral health program improvement and expansion
Develop standards of care, protocols, and policies for behavioral health care
Partner with outside organizations for timely referrals and support networks
Manage training, supervision, and quality assurance related to behavioral health for providers
Explore and develop opportunities for group psychoeducation and interventions
Identify, analyze, and develop new behavioral health services or modify existing programs
Hire and onboard additional behavioral health provider(s) as the program expands
Review legislative changes impacting existing programs and advise on policy matters

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master Degree (M.A.) or equivalent
Active California license issued as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
At least 3 years of related experience and/or training beyond master’s degree
Prior experience in a healthcare or other integrated behavioral health system preferred
Prior experience in sexual and reproductive health care preferred
Prior work with diverse patient populations preferred
Experience providing services via telehealth preferred
English/Spanish bilingual skills desirable
