About the role
- As a part of the Advocacy and Political Law Team within the Office of the General Counsel, help administer, and coordinate advocacy and political compliance programs.
- Work directly with the Associate Director and engage stakeholders across all levels of National office.
- Help manage outside counsel responsible for performing lobbying, campaign finance, and other nonprofit compliance filings.
- Assist in project management of all federal and state lobbying and campaign finance disclosure filings.
- Collaborate with staff to develop plans to meet compliance deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three or more years of federal campaign finance compliance experience.
- Previous experience filing lobbying or campaign finance reports required.
- Highly organized self-starter.
- Solution and process focused with proven problem solving skills.
- Proficient in Google (Gmail, Calendar, Apps) and Microsoft Office with at least intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Strong, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
