Serve as mentor and clinical guide for Registered Nurses and collaborate with Metro Health Center Manager and medical leadership
Deliver direct patient care within licensure scope, including value-neutral counseling and reproductive health services including abortion
Advise, counsel, and provide referrals; perform physical assessments and manage common gynecologic/non-gynecologic issues
Maintain clinical systems (abnormal lab follow-ups), complete medical documentation, support prescription refills, phone consultations, and follow-up
Participate in Centralized Follow-Up team and support clinic financial and patient data awareness
Lead nursing leadership duties: ensure regulatory compliance, support state inspector visits, hire/train/evaluate staff, orient/mentor students, complete annual staff reviews, monitor productivity
Participate in Medical Leadership Meetings and coordinate emergency drills
Quality and Risk Management: serve on QRM subcommittees, complete and report abortion and medical audits, follow up on medical occurrences, develop audit and training calendar
Work evenings and weekends as needed and rotate with nursing staff for after-hours calls
Requirements
Current RN Utah license without restriction
Bachelor of Nursing or nursing degree with equivalent leadership training (preferred)
2+ years clinical experience in Women’s Health or reproductive healthcare
Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
Yearly influenza vaccination required unless qualifies for medical or religious exemption
Maintains licensure and participates in continuing medical education; keeps BLS certification current
