About the role
- SaaS Portfolio Management: Maintain a comprehensive system of record for all SaaS applications.
- Proactively monitor and report on SaaS application adoption, utilization, spending, and value to inform decision-making.
- Drive efficiency in the SaaS portfolio by identifying redundant applications and optimizing licenses.
- Manage SaaS renewals and supplier relationships, including conducting regular business reviews (QBRs).
- Develop and implement strategies for SaaS spend optimization, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & SaaS Procurement Management: Partner with business unit (LOB) stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, PPL, etc.) on the evaluation, selection, and procurement of new SaaS solutions.
- Work with Corporate Engineering, Security and LOB stakeholders on process improvements related to SaaS management and SDLC practices.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, legal, and financial requirements for all new software purchases.
- Communicate clearly to stakeholders regarding software procurement processes, schedules, metrics, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and manage processes for user license lifecycle management (onboarding and offboarding) for SaaS applications.
- Contribute to the development of IT best practices for application adoption, license provisioning, and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technically relevant field
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in a technical project management, vendor management, or similar role
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in a SaaS or SaaS-focused role (preferred)
- Knowledge of SaaS management platforms (SMPs), such as Productiv (preferred)
- Experience with creating and maintaining approved application catalogues (preferred)
- Experience with OKTA and Jira administration (preferred)
