Senior HR Business Partner – Lead
PJM InterconnectionLead HR Business Partner providing daily HR support and strategic counsel at PJM. Collaborating with management and teams to optimize business performance and develop talent.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide daily general HR support to defined client groups
- Act as HR single point of contact and strategic business partner for client groups
- Consult with management on business and performance needs
- Partner with People Services Center and Total Rewards Center on an as needed basis to perform HR functions
- Serve as an advocate for employees, management, and the Company
- Provide advice and counsel in the use of corrective actions
- Interface with external and internal legal entities
- Partner with hiring managers to secure the best talent
- Partner in the development of leaders/teams through organization-wide change interventions
- Make decisions to recommend changes to HR practices and policies
- Monitor trends in employee relations, learning, and recruiting
- Participate in developing processes for assessing organizational strengths
- Responsible for assigned department and company-wide projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or equivalent work experience
- At least 7 years of experience in at least 2 areas: leadership development, human resources, internal consulting, employee relations, and/or recruiting
- Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
- Ability to visualize and solve complex problems
- Experience in competency-based assessment and selection
- Experience in supporting diverse business lines
- Experience working in a fast paced HR environment as a strategic Business Partner
- Experience with one or more of the following specialties: organization development, change management, management coaching, communication, and/or manager/supervisor/employee development programs, employee relations and recruiting.
