Associate General Counsel
PJM InterconnectionAssociate General Counsel providing internal legal support for PJM. Managing regulatory compliance and representing PJM in FERC proceedings, oversight of legal department.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides internal legal support for PJM
- Coordinates and manages the regulatory compliance activities of PJM
- Represents PJM in proceedings before FERC
- Serves as primary legal liaison between PJM and FERC staff
- Prepares and supervises staff attorneys in preparation of filings
- Oversees administrative litigation and supports civil litigation
- Coordinates with the Vice President, Federal Government Policy and outside counsel
- Responsible for managing and implementing the company’s legal, regulatory and compliance functions
- Supervises administration of the Law Department, attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff
- Mentor and develop attorneys, paralegals and staff
- Analyzes, interprets, advises and provides recommendations on regulatory and legal matters involving PJM
- Serves as senior legal advisor to Executive Management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctor (JD degree)
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Experience with PJM Agreements and Tariffs
- Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions
- Experience supporting any of PJM Committees
