About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft estate planning documents for clients using drafting software
- Ensure documents are perfectly formatted and finalized for review and/or printing
- Assist with preparation and completion of estate plans as needed
- Liaise with the estate planning team to address issues and maintain quality service and efficiency
- Assist the legal team with case-related support as time permits
- Work approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during U.S. Eastern Time hours
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in the legal field is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to closely follow established policies and procedures
- Strong attention to detail, impeccable spelling and grammar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to learn new software and technology
- Ability to work without checking social media during the workday
- Must have or obtain within two weeks of start date: computer with Windows 11 or newer, 16 GB RAM minimum, 500 GB SSD or larger, Intel Core i5 10th Generation processor or equivalent, external mouse, webcam, quality headset with microphone, and UPS or inverter
- Must have or obtain fiber or equivalent internet with minimum 100 Mbps, uncapped service, and Ethernet connection; Wi-Fi is not acceptable
- Ability to work approximately 3:00/4:00 pm to 12:00/1:00 am South African Standard Time, depending on the time of year
