About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Hardware development of test and production setups for in-house developed electronic devices, including mechanical design of electronic enclosures and test adapter components.
- Schematic and PCB design.
- Analysis and creation of requirements and specifications, as well as structuring and modeling of systems.
- Coordination of system interfaces with customers, internal departments and external suppliers.
- Development of system models (states, activities, use cases, etc.) and participation in system analyses.
- Liaising with and supporting qualification activities (environmental and electromagnetic compatibility) and managing suppliers during the development phase.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, (Technical) Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a hardware developer, systems engineer, or architect.
- Experience in schematic and/or PCB design in a professional environment, ideally with Altium Designer, CAD, and related tools.
- Solid knowledge of development processes and basic knowledge of RF engineering and hardware qualification testing.
- Strong understanding of system analysis methods and their relation to development artifacts and phases; some experience in M-CAD design (ideally Autodesk Fusion) and 3D printing is desirable.
- German and English language skills at C1 level required.
