About the role

  • Work with engineering teams, end users, and engineering management to ensure successful development and rollout of internally developed pHelix software solutions.
  • Navigate multiple complex initiatives while managing competing priorities and diverse teams.
  • Drive aggressive schedules while maintaining effective working relationships and discretion with customers and end users.
  • Coordinate and track development, testing and deployment schedules across technology group for integration.
  • Coordinate, track and communicate development and deployment schedules across internal customers and upper management.
  • Manage internal and external communications including meetings and materials (product one-sheets, presentation decks, marketing materials).
  • Drive continuous improvement across development, deployment, and support processes.
  • Ensure technology infrastructure availability, participate in vendor negotiations, and coordinate with IT and Support to deploy and maintain.
  • Help define and enforce engineering practices.
  • Manage project resource allocations.
  • Role may evolve to include technical project management in other areas of Pixelogic systems development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or business. M.S. or M.B.A. preferred.
  • 5+ years experience working with software development teams.
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate resources in multiple time zones.
  • Strong experience with Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence).
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience with software development processes.
  • Experience with Agile development is required.
  • Experience working with senior management.
  • Strong consistency and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate and self-manage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Preferred: Understanding of digital media, preferably professional film and television.
