About the role

  • Post Edit subtitle translations from Machine Translation output using a template and cloud based subtitling software for features, episodic TV series, or bonus content.

Requirements

  • Native target language speaker - Slovak, Czech
  • Degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, Translation Management, or a related field
  • Experience or interest in machine post editing subtitles
  • Proven experience in subtitle translation from scratch
  • Familiarity with streaming service workflows and client-specific styleguides
  • Familiarity with current MT tools and platforms and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies
  • Good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language/country-specific cultures, known as localization
  • Problem solver with creative and innovative approach with ability to think out of the box
