About the role

  • Pixelogic Media Partners provides distribution services and technology solutions to the entertainment industry, localizing and distributing feature and episodic titles globally.
  • Services include scripting, subtitling, access services, dubbing, text and metadata localization in over 50 languages, and technical services for digital and physical media.
  • R&D works on 4K, HDR (Dolby Vision, HDR10+), AI/ML, software automation and proprietary pHelix platform.
  • Experience start-up at scale and help build innovative solutions for media and entertainment clients.
  • Primary Responsibilities: Developing new applications and adding new features to existing ones.
  • Developing software for various platforms and building reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Designing and scaling API endpoints and collaborating with other team members and teams.
  • Translating UI/UX wireframes to visual elements and optimizing applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as front-end or accredited certificate in front-end tools.
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated passion for learning new technologies.
  • Strong consistency and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate and self-manage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great attitude towards work and people.
  • Intellectually curious, passionate, and inventive.
  • A sense of ownership over the product.
  • A desire to build well-engineered reusable front-end components and abstractions.
  • Mastery of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with front-end libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS or AngularJS.
  • Experience with front-end test frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, react-testing-library and Cypress.
  • Unafraid to tackle back-end problems from time to time.
  • Experience in Cross-browser and device testing and understanding of web performance optimization (WPO).
