About the role
- Manage a team of 8–10 instructional designers, including 2 thematic project leads.
- Assess and balance individual and team workloads.
- Develop team skills: identify training needs.
- Recruit, onboard and support new team members.
- Establish and run regular team rituals.
- Deploy and continuously improve the module creation processes.
- Implement and ensure a quality assurance process.
- Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops and KPI tracking.
- Define and facilitate the cross-functional agile framework for production.
- Organize regular prioritization and overall progress review meetings.
- Ensure deadlines and commitments are met.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent, ideally with a specialization in instructional design, science communication, education sciences, or similar.
- Proven experience managing e-learning / digital learning projects with strong delivery and content production management responsibilities.
- Senior or experienced manager able to structure work, prioritize and meet deadlines while creating a stimulating, supportive environment for the team.
- Recognized for commitment, creative problem-solving, curiosity, rigor and diplomacy.
- Strong command of product methodologies and project management (both traditional and agile).
- Deep knowledge of e-learning instructional design methods (storyboarding, scriptwriting, multimedia).
- Good understanding of quality issues in digital learning content production.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team in a demanding context.
- Experience supporting an organization through change, reassuring and engaging stakeholders.
- Capability to manage a complex production flow, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Implement KPIs, improve process reliability and ensure compliance.
- Excellent writing skills, diplomacy and the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders (subject-matter experts, editorial teams, developers, designers, data experts, sponsors).
- Strong digital literacy (equivalent to 6–7 on Pix); proficiency with collaborative product management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Good professional command of English (spoken and written).
