About the role
- The Data team at Pitzi is responsible for turning raw data into strategic information that supports decision-making across all areas of the business.
- Working closely with key stakeholders—such as underwriting, claims, sales, finance, and technology—our team ensures information is always aligned with company needs, promoting data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and optimize performance.
- As a data analyst, your focus will be on sales performance analysis, with emphasis on new business, validation of information for new products, and management of active products.
- The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in manipulating complex data and be able to identify key metrics to evaluate sales performance and the quality of the company’s new business.
- In addition, the role requires strong experience in statistical analysis and data modeling, with practical knowledge of data-oriented programming languages such as SQL and Python.
- The ability to apply advanced analytical techniques—such as machine learning and predictive analytics—to optimize sales processes and provide strategic insights into product performance and campaign effectiveness will be considered a plus.
Requirements
- Curiosity and a strong desire to learn
- Analytical mindset focused on problem solving
- Experience creating charts and presentations
- Experience writing queries in PostgreSQL
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Tableau and/or other BI tools
- Understanding of mathematics and statistics
- Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics
