About the role
- Scan court and extrajudicial summons/notices received by the department.
- Populate databases, internal systems and legal dashboards with case information and updates.
- Organize and file documents, rulings and proof of payment in digital folders (Drive).
- Forward cases to partner law firms according to the established workflow.
- Review low- and medium-complexity documents, under supervision.
- Collect system evidence and prepare supporting materials in cases involving PROCON, lawsuits and partner ombudsman complaints.
- Assist in drafting and completing legal documents and forms: closure agreements, declarations of truth and settlement receipts.
- Support other departments in communications involving the Consumer Protection Code (CDC), the Civil Code and private insurance regulations, under guidance.
- Research legislation, doctrine and regulatory standards under the manager's guidance.
- Operate the contract lifecycle end-to-end: receipt, verification, signatures, storage and version control.
- Organize and maintain document repositories (contracts, corporate, litigation and tickets), ensuring versioning, traceability and easy retrieval.
- Perform due diligence on counterparties, service providers and operations, under guidance.
- Standardize templates, checklists and legal routines, contributing to process consolidation.
- Monitor publications in the Official Gazette, via Jusbrasil and/or legal software, checking citations and case developments.
- Track tasks, deadlines and SLAs, alerting about upcoming deadlines for defenses, hearings and judgments.
- Assist in tracking obligations to do (OBF) and obligations to pay (OBP).
- Post entries in the ERP system (SAP or similar) in the legal expenses module, recording court fees and attorneys' fees.
- Manage legal payments, collect receipts for submission and filing.
- Prepare case monitoring reports and departmental KPIs.
- Support the organization of documents for internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Law degree program from the 5th semester onward at an institution recognized by the MEC (Brazilian Ministry of Education).
- Knowledge of Consumer Law (CDC) and Civil Law.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and/or Excel (intermediate level).
- Comfortable with Google Workspace tools (Drive, Docs, Gmail).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Sense of urgency and responsibility with deadlines.
- Analytical ability, problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team player with good cross-functional interaction.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or similar).
- Basic understanding of Insurance Law or SUSEP regulation.
- Previous experience at a law firm or in a legal department.
- Familiarity with Jusbrasil or legal management software (CRM).
