About the role
- Responsible for sales within an assigned geographical territory
- Support for Heat Transfer Sales and technical expertise as needed in the field
- Report to the National Sales Manager and located in the field
- Field travel with the sales representative
- Be seen as the technical resource for all Heat Transfer applications
- Tactically plan interfacing with the sales representative, applications engineer, and regional managers
- Reinforce long-term customer relationship
- Expand the portfolio of equipment that customers could purchase from Conair
- Look for non-Conair customer opportunities
- Maintain and utilize the CRM software to develop a Conair knowledge base of each customer
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (or related field)
- Ten (10)+ years of direct work experience without formal education
- Six (6)+ years of direct/relevant experience based on scope of position
- One (1) year of leadership responsibility
- Minimum five (5) years of field sales experience
- Process cooling experience and/or HVAC background preferred
- Ability to work effectively across internal and external teams
- Must be able to prioritize and multitask
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and salesforce.com
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Adaptable and able to effectively manage in a dynamic environment
- Must develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
