About the role
- Identify, approach, and secure new airline and end-user customers across America
- Leverage industry connections to establish Pioneer Aero Supply as an approved supplier with targeted accounts
- Identify new revenue streams including parts programs, contracts and consignment opportunities
- Generate leads and manage pipeline development from initial contact through to sales closure
- Visit customers regularly, maintaining a visible and trusted presence in the marketplace
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate new leads and strengthen relationships
- Collaborate with the sales team to pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts and serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers and vendor accounts
- Develop and execute tailored account plans to maximize relationship value and business potential
- Respond to RFQs, prepare proposals, and manage customer communications to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with End-User customers, OEMs, and repair vendors
- Identify and procure high-demand parts for resale, managing purchase prices, repair cycles, and sales strategy
- Source and qualify new vendors to support inventory needs and market demands
- Use market data and customer feedback to shape sales strategies and track and report on KPIs and sales activities
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the aviation aftermarket industry with proven airline/end-user contacts in North America
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and secure approved supplier status
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently (one trip every 2–3 weeks)
- Proficient in relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals
- Experience with AVsight preferred
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills a plus
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
