About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Play a key role in building a best in class finance function by strengthening processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Own the quality, accuracy, and integrity of accounting data, ensuring strong audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive confidence in financial systems and reporting for the CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Responsible for auditing.
  • Oversee and document day-to-day operational finance processes, including invoicing, collections, payables, and payroll.
  • Lead efficient weekly and monthly reporting, including a robust month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely completion of tax, statutory, and financial reporting requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Newly qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), with 3+ years audit experience.
  • Hands-on experience using ERP system such as Sage Intacct, SAP, Vision, NetSuite.
  • Strong understanding of the Financial Controller role and accountability across core finance operations and reporting.
  • Confident relationship-builder with the ability to partner beyond Finance and influence a range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid knowledge of statutory reporting requirements for legal entities with experience of taking end to end ownership.
