About the role
- Report to Head of Product, Engineering and Design and lead Integrations Engineering team of 8 engineers
- Write code every day to support and expand Pinwheel’s connectivity products - including PreMatch and partnerships with payroll providers
- Lead, coach, and enable a stellar team of engineers to drive growth, ownership, and impact
- Collaborate with Product to shape the product roadmap
- Prioritize work to maximize the impact of your team and be accountable for your team’s results
- Build a powerhouse team through coaching, career development, hiring, and identify headcount needs
- Keep systems reliable, secure, and performant and help enhance engineering culture
Requirements
- 1+ years as a tech lead or engineering manager
- 5+ years as a software engineer
- 2+ years of Python experience
- Experience with login, authentication, bot detection and SSO a big +
- Track record of shipping products that drive business impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
