About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers
Develop advanced SQL queries and reusable datasets using SQL Server, Snowflake, and other enterprise data sources
Use Python to automate data processing, reconciliation, validation, reporting, and repetitive workflows
Build dashboards and executive reporting using Power BI and related reporting tools
Translate business questions into analyses, metrics, dashboards, and recommendations
Combine data from databases, APIs, Excel, CSV, JSON, and cloud applications
Develop automated data pipelines and reporting processes
Validate data quality and investigate discrepancies across systems and reports
Partner with operational, clinical, financial, and executive teams
Identify opportunities to improve processes through better data, reporting, and automation
Document solutions and maintain development, testing, and source-control practices
Mentor junior analysts and help establish analytics and development standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a related field
Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, data transformation, and performance optimization
Strong professional experience with Python, including data analysis and production-level automation
Strong experience with Power BI or comparable BI/reporting tools
Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data platform
Experience working with REST APIs and structured data such as JSON, CSV, and Excel
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to independently take a business problem from requirements through analysis and implementation
Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and automated workflows
Experience with Git or comparable source-control tools
Healthcare or home health experience preferred
Experience working with operational, clinical, or financial healthcare data preferred
Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Graph experience preferred
Familiarity with HIPAA and handling PHI preferred
Experience integrating SaaS and enterprise applications preferred
