About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write SQL queries to extract, combine, and analyze data from multiple systems
  • Use Python to automate reporting, data validation, file processing, and repetitive tasks
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools
  • Assist with analyzing operational, clinical, and financial data
  • Support recurring reporting and ad hoc data requests
  • Clean, validate, and reconcile data to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Work with data from SQL databases, Snowflake, Excel, CSV, JSON, and APIs
  • Investigate discrepancies between reports and source systems
  • Support development of automated data pipelines and reporting processes
  • Work with senior analysts and business leaders to understand reporting and analytics needs
  • Document queries, reports, and automated processes
  • Identify opportunities to simplify manual processes through data and automation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field
  • Strong foundational SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, filtering, and data transformation
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable BI tool
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Understanding of relational databases and basic data modeling concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize work, troubleshoot issues, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data platform preferred
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, or automated data processes preferred
  • Familiarity with Git or source-control tools preferred
  • Healthcare or home health experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure preferred
  • Exposure to healthcare operational, clinical, or financial data preferred
