About the role
- Design, develop, and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
- Configure Dynamics modules to meet business requirements, including entity creation, form design, views, business rules, and process automation.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and middleware (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate).
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage deployment of customizations and updates.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Dynamics 365 solutions, including performance tuning and issue resolution.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and processes.
- Ensure solutions adhere to Microsoft best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development (JavaScript, C#, .NET, Power Platform).
- Experience with Dynamics 365 APIs, web services, and integration tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in - Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with MS Dynamics products at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs
- Experience with Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Azure Functions).
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.
- Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for Dynamics 365.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prior experience collaborating with Veterans Affairs stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) within a federal agency environment.
- Proven knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs operations, policies, and programs, with an emphasis on client-facing technology solutions.
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum.
- Active Federal Government public trust clearance
