High-Impact Mentorship: Sponsor and grow Senior and Staff engineers, fostering an organizational culture of "shift-left" security and robust system design.
Global Collaboration: Collaborate with team members locally in Vancouver, BC, and worldwide to align engineering efforts across geographic regions.
System Quality: Work alongside Software Quality Engineers to ensure comprehensive automated unit and integration testing frameworks are built directly into the new architecture.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of operating as a principal or senior staff architect for enterprise-grade, large-scale systems.
Expert-level mastery of Java and deep familiarity with the enterprise Java ecosystem, open-source libraries, and performance tuning at scale.
Automation Mindset: Proven experience architecting automated CI/CD guardrails, automated dependency workflows, or self-healing infrastructure.
Web Fundamentals: Solid understanding of HTTP, TLS, and core web application constraints.
Exceptional communication and systems-thinking skills, with a history of driving technical alignment across multiple distributed engineering teams.
