About the role

  • Own a territory and quota of ISVs and relevant Enterprises (grow, renew, prospect, break into accounts, secure POCs and contractual relationships)
  • Manage inbound leads through the PLG and MQL channels
  • Lead all sales-related activities through the various stages of the buying journey according to Pinecone’s sales process
  • Sell and win against competitors
  • Ensure customers are deployed successfully, positioned for expansion, and create expansion opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Developer Relations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing
  • Report directly into the Head of Strategic & Commercial Sales and support growth into ISV and Enterprise customers in North America

Requirements

  • Experience in the infrastructure, data software, and genAI space is preferred
  • Experience selling to developers and engineering leaders is a must
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience as an Account Executive, with direct experience with ISV and Enterprise Accounts, closing net new logos
  • Consistent track record of performance above quota / top of peer group
  • Start-up and early stage experience is preferred
  • High degree of technical knowledge and comfort selling to developers and engineering leaders
  • Comfortable handling complex multi-stage sales processes in large organizations
  • Pinecone supports visa / immigration needs for prospective candidates (sponsorship supported)
