About the role
- Manage the region assigned to you.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and the company; understand needs, goals, and challenges; focus on on-site meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Achieve a monthly call target of 500 and establish contacts with at least 145 customers.
- Make outbound calls on weekdays from 9:30–11:30 and 14:00–15:30 (except when attending external appointments).
- Arrange approximately 15 high-quality in-person meetings per month.
- Follow up on sales opportunities with support from the back-office team.
- Inform customers about updates, new products, and events.
- Develop and implement sales strategies.
- Ability to analyze data and derive strategic approaches to increase revenue.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across multiple products/services.
- Coordinate pipeline follow-ups and manage appointment and closing dates.
- Adhere to KPIs.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and confidently sell the product range.
- Identify customers’ growth potential and tailor our offerings to their needs and goals.
- Close contracts and negotiate agreements with customers.
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, customer support) to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns and resolve issues.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions; use market knowledge to identify new business opportunities.
- Collect customer feedback and forward it to the relevant departments.
- Proactively identify opportunities for contract renewals or expansions.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
- We are looking for a candidate residing near the Austrian border.
- Remote (home office).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Experience in business development or sales.
- Willingness to travel regularly, sometimes at short notice; approximately two days per week on-site with customers; overnight stays possible.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Communicative — confident and outgoing.
- High self-motivation and drive.
