About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and maintain software systems that process real-time audio/video streams
- Build scalable media pipelines for low-latency processing
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
- Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems
- Analyze and solve complex technical problems
- Implement best practices in testing and quality assurance
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay current with emerging technologies and programming languages
- Ensure software adheres to security standards and compliance requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with real-time communication systems, including VoIP, SIP, RTP, or WebRTC
- Experience working with audio and/or video processing pipelines, codecs, or streaming technologies
- Experience building and operating microservices and REST/gRPC APIs
- Familiarity with observability tooling and debugging distributed systems
- Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments
- Experience with CI/CD and GitOps workflows
