About the role

- Ensure that the platform is scalable, reliable, and delivers differentiated value to internal product teams and customers.
- Stay ahead of competitive and industry trends in platforms, data products, and developer ecosystems.
- Partner with Product and GTM teams to understand how product lines depend on the platform today and their needs going forward.
- Engage with customers and partners to understand use cases and unmet needs.
- Manage organization goals, business metrics, and KPIs for the platform.
- Set the overall vision, strategy, and success measures for the Pindrop Platform.
- Define how shared platform capabilities evolve to support current and future products.
- Own and maintain prioritized platform roadmaps balancing investments and new capabilities.
- Drive end-to-end execution for platform initiatives from discovery to launch.
- Collaborate with go-to-market partners to position platform capabilities and accelerate customer adoption.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with significant time spent on platform, infrastructure, or shared services (e.g., data platforms, API platforms, developer platforms, or similar).
- Experience working with cloud-native architectures and highly distributed systems; familiarity with how platform decisions impact reliability, performance, cost, and security.
- Proven experience defining and executing go-to-market strategy for platform or API / data products, including positioning, packaging, pricing, and launch planning.
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to translate platform capabilities into clear value propositions, customer narratives, and enablement.
- Experience creating and scaling internal platforms that serve multiple product teams or business units, OR externalized platforms / APIs used directly by customers and partners.
- Technical background or strong technical fluency; you can work closely with engineering on APIs, data models, integration patterns, and system tradeoffs.
- Experience within a SaaS company required; experience in security, identity, fraud, or risk is a plus but not required.
- Proven track record of successful product or platform launches and meaningful impact on adoption, usage, or business outcomes.
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to dig into details, understand edge cases, or help unblock teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills — you can bring clarity to complex technical topics and drive alignment across engineering, product, GTM, and executive stakeholders.
- Transparent and open about what works and what doesn’t; you use data and feedback to iterate quickly.
