About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute adoption strategies for assigned technologies, Transactional practices, and offices
- Understand lawyer and business-professional workflows, challenges, and priorities
- Identify technology use cases that improve efficiency, quality, consistency, collaboration, and client service
- Provide targeted training, communications, coaching, and workflow guidance
- Identify and address barriers to technology adoption
- Build relationships with practice leaders, product champions, and stakeholders
- Coordinate change-management activities across product launches, enhancements, and transformation initiatives
- Support responsible use of AI-enabled tools in accordance with firm policies, client obligations, and professional standards
- Develop and deliver practical, use-case-based training through sessions, demonstrations, workshops, office programs, coaching, and individual support
- Create user guides, workflow documentation, examples, and self-service resources
- Lead or coordinate implementation of assigned technology solutions
- Develop implementation plans covering engagement, testing, communications, training, launch, and post-launch support
- Coordinate cross-functional implementation activities across firm teams
- Facilitate user testing and workflow validation
- Monitor utilization and address adoption, workflow, and usability issues
- Serve as product owner for an assigned portfolio of legal technology and AI-enabled applications
- Develop product roadmaps, gather and prioritize requirements, and maintain a product backlog
- Coordinate releases, configuration changes, testing, communications, and training
- Resolve product, integration, performance, and usability issues with internal teams and vendors
- Engage Transactional practice leaders, lawyers, associates, professional support lawyers, and business professionals
- Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys, and workflow reviews
- Define and monitor adoption and utilization measures
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to the Director, Practice Solutions and stakeholders
- Partner with Knowledge Management, Innovation, Data Science, AI Engineering, Technology, Talent Development, Risk, Information Security, Privacy, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams
- Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate vendor support, updates, roadmap discussions, and issue resolution
- Support product evaluations, pilots, renewals, and commercial reviews
- Maintain awareness of developments in legal technology and AI
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Three or more years of experience in change management, technology adoption, legal technology, training, or a related field
- Experience working in a law firm, legal department, legal technology company, or professional services environment
- Proven ability to guide professionals through technology and workflow change
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, training, communication, and project-management skills
- Ability to translate user needs into practical use cases and adoption plans
- Experience leading technology adoption within a law firm or legal environment preferred
- Experience supporting lawyers, practice groups, or geographically distributed teams preferred
- Formal change-management training, such as Prosci or ADKAR preferred
- Familiarity with legal technology and legal workflows preferred
- Experience using feedback and adoption data to improve utilization preferred
