Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the development and execution of the firmwide Knowledge Management & Innovation strategy
Collaborate with firm leadership and stakeholders to align KM & Innovation initiatives
Establish and monitor key performance metrics and provide reporting to firm leadership
Lead, develop, and mentor a multidisciplinary team
Recruit and retain high-performing talent
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and business-focused team culture
Serve as a strategic voice to business unit leadership
Develop and facilitate cross-functional knowledge-sharing programs and training sessions
Collaborate with IT, Legal Operations, and other stakeholders to evaluate and implement technology solutions
Monitor emerging trends and technologies within the legal, AI, and professional services markets

Requirements

What you’ll need

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Significant experience practicing law within a major law firm, corporate legal department, or government legal environment
Substantial experience within knowledge management, practice innovation, professional support lawyer (PSL), or comparable legal operations function
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with partners, attorneys, and senior business stakeholders
Deep understanding of the legal technology and AI landscape
Demonstrated success leading organizational change initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong strategic, operational, and problem-solving capabilities.
