About the role
- Your primary responsibility is to work with our partners, Salesforce, to identify, qualify, and close new business
- Develop relationships and engage with Salesforce sales and sales management
- Work with Business & Technology Stakeholders at clients to understand pain points and develop a strategy to solve those pain points through the Salesforce platforms
- Understand and articulate (orally, written, PowerPoint presentation) the company value proposition into specific customer benefits
- Engage relevant Pierce Washington resources to support and advance sales cycles
- Meet/exceed sales quotas
- Report on sales activity and forecast in Salesforce.com
- Respond to RFIs and RFPs
Requirements
- Self-starter with a positive, optimistic attitude
- BA/BS degree required or Associates Degree with 5+ years of relevant work and industry experience
- 2 years+ outside sales experience with consistent > 100% quota attainment
- Success in translating customer goals into a sales strategy to support revenue achievement
- Experience with developing and growing partner relationships with Salesforce is preferred
- Industry-related selling experience and/or technical competency is desired in the High Tech, HLS or Manufacturing vertical
- Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
- Ability to overcome customers’ objections and qualify opportunities
- Effective presentation skills
- Effective listening skills
- Excellent written and electronic communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with Salesforce and Pierce Washington resources on sales issues
- Demonstrate a high standard of ethical conduct
