About the role

  • Operational lead for site-based research, owning day-to-day execution of startup, regulatory submissions, onboarding, and ongoing site support across observational and low-interventional studies
  • Build and own scalable workflows for site startup (CDA/feasibility surveys, selection, contracting, budgeting, and IRB submissions)
  • Lead creation of training materials, scripts, SOPs, and study one-pagers to ensure consistent onboarding
  • Manage IRB submissions, amendments, continuing reviews, and eTMF documentation; own compliance handoffs
  • Conduct monthly site check-ins, oversee site payment processes, distribute newsletters, and ensure engagement
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Project Managers, Recruitment Managers, Product, and Delivery Leadership
  • Lead final site communications, regulatory wrap-up, and offboarding for study closeout
  • Develop and test tech-forward approaches and apply AI to improve site workflows

Requirements

  • 5+ years of clinical research operations experience, with at least 2 years in site-facing roles (observational or non-interventional research strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with site startup, regulatory/IRB submissions, and ongoing site management
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, public health, nursing, or a related field
  • Strong expertise in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, and site compliance workflows
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy and minimal supervision while maintaining exceptional quality and compliance
  • Adept at cross-functional coordination across delivery, regulatory and quality, and product teams
  • Experience in fast-paced, scaling health-tech environments and building reusable playbooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with sites and stakeholders
