About the role

  • Lead the planning and execution of corporate events, team-building sessions, and large-scale group experiences at our pickleball club.\n
  • Focus on driving revenue, enhancing the club's brand through exceptional event experiences, and building strong partnerships with local businesses and organizations.\n

  • Design and implement a strategic calendar of corporate events, team-building programs, private parties and special functions aligned with business goals.\n
  • Collaborate with Director of Programming to develop customized pickleball experiences for clients including tournaments, clinics, unique games and networking events.\n
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote event offerings and generate inbound leads.\n
  • Identify, pursue, and close new corporate partnerships and group booking opportunities.\n
  • Aggressively prospect for event opportunities.\n
  • Build long-term relationships with HR managers, event planners, and business leaders to increase repeat business.\n
  • Conduct client consultations to understand goals, budgets, and event objectives.\n
  • Collaborate with club General Managers to manage all logistics for corporate events including space allocation, staffing, catering, signage, and equipment.\n
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all events, ensuring a high-quality experience from setup to breakdown.\n
  • Coordinate with coaches and facility staff to deliver engaging, well-structured pickleball activities.\n
  • Monitor event budgets, track profitability, and report performance metrics to the Operations team.\n
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, contracts, and schedules.\n
  • Gather post-event feedback and continuously improve offerings based on client insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree: significant industry experience considered in lieu of degree.\n
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, event planning or coordination.\n
  • Experience working in large facilities such as gyms or athletic complexes preferred.\n
  • Professional communication a must with the ability and willingness to proactively prospect through phone calls, web calls and physical meetings.\n
  • Must be available during U.S. East Coast hours (8-5 p.m. ET). This position is REMOTE with occasional travel required.
