About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Make outbound calls to patients currently receiving care to resolve account balances
- Take inbound calls and answer patient billing questions with clarity and professionalism
- Process payments and update accounts accurately
- Work assigned accounts using reporting tools to prioritize follow-up
- Document all activity and coordinate updates with billing and clinic teams
- Identify and communicate insurance or account changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–2 years of experience in collections, patient accounts, and outbound calling
- Strong customer service mindset (empathetic, not transactional)
- Confident communicator—clear, calm, and persuasive
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Tech-savvy: comfortable navigating multiple systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office
