About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to adapting layouts for photovoltaic plants (layouts, execution plans)
  • Participate in managing and launching the technical studies required for construction: geotechnical studies; topographic surveys; official bailiff/site inspections; specific technical specifications (civil works and utilities - VRD, structures, networks, etc.)
  • Assist in the technical analysis of solutions proposed by earthworks contractors and preparatory works contractors
  • Support the Project Manager in scheduling and monitoring construction sites (planning, milestones, coordination)
  • Attend project follow-up meetings with contractors and partners
  • Contribute to tracking the physical and financial progress of projects
  • Support monitoring of budgets, timelines and execution quality
  • Participate in the preparation and follow-up of contractor and supplier tenders
  • Contribute to the analysis and review of bids for the various lots
  • Assist with contractual follow-up of contractors during the construction phase
  • Contribute to quality control oversight on sites (quality plans, inspections, non-conformities)
  • Participate in safety and environmental monitoring: compliance with HSE rules; monitoring prevention plans; reporting deviations and corrective actions
  • Assist in capturing and capitalizing on site lessons learned (REX)
  • Support coordination of grid connections and monitoring of power purchase contracts
  • Help structure a construction contract checklist
  • Contribute to improving project tracking tools and methods
  • Participate in optimizing technical approaches to reduce construction costs
  • Conduct technological watch on innovative and sustainable solutions in the photovoltaic sector

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Final-year engineering student or equivalent with a specialization in: energy, electrical engineering, renewable energy, civil engineering or equivalent
  • Good understanding of electrical systems (generation, transmission, distribution)
  • Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams (simplified single-line diagrams)
  • Solid knowledge of photovoltaic energy production
  • Familiarity with EPC/construction processes
  • Proficient with tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • PV simulation tools (PVsyst or equivalent)
  • CAD tools (CAO/DAO)
  • Driving license (Category B)
