About the role

  • Lead day-to-day financial operations across a growing technology services company
  • Ensure financial accuracy, strong internal financial controls, and timely reporting
  • Provide leadership with clear visibility into cash flow, profitability, and performance
  • Operate as both an operator and advisor, owning core accounting functions
  • Improve processes, systems, and financial discipline
  • Oversee and manage full-cycle accounts payable lifecycle
  • Produce accurate monthly financial statements and budget vs. actual reporting
  • Develop and manage company and business unit budgets
  • Support business unit P&Ls with accurate tracking of revenue, labor, and expenses
  • Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA preferred)
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
  • Experience in professional services, technology consulting, or government contracting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and project-based accounting
  • Experience with QuickBooks and tools such as Bill.com (or similar platforms)
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle accounting and financial operations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
