About the role
- Translation of business objectives and goals into deliverable architectural solutions.
- Prioritisation of solutions based on value delivery, not just feasibility.
- Attending and contributing to architecture reviews with a focus on delivery impact (e.g., time-to-market, scalability, cost).
- Delivery of high quality, project driven Solution Architecture and Design artefacts.
- Working with other IT architecture domains and wider IT stakeholders to deliver robust and cost effective solutions.
- Strong decision making capabilities and capable of communicating with and influencing stakeholders where appropriate.
Requirements
- Extensive solution architecture skills preferably within a Financial Services environment
- Strong communication skills with experience of communicating with different levels of stakeholders on a regular basis
- Knowledge and understanding of architecture and design processes within managed IT change processes
- Adaptable approaches and behaviours to deal with any emerging issues and challenges
