General Accounting Accountant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the day-to-day General Accounting operations for month-end-close journal entries, reconciliation, and reporting
- Perform Manual General Ledger postings within the activity split
- Provide quality support to Audit and Control
- Proactively collaborate with other functions/teams to achieve efficient problem resolution or implement process controls
- Support team members to achieve performance and quality standards
- Actively participate in process efficiency reviews and implementation of process automation
- Assist in implementing initiatives for improving efficiency and/or effectiveness of the General Accounting transaction processing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Economics or Business Administration, preferably with a major in accounting
- Approximately 1-2 years of experience in the area of accounting
- Experience in GA, AP, and AR processes in a complex and international business environment is advantageous
- Experience working with SAP or OpenAccounts is an advantage
- Experienced knowledge of Finance and Accounting end-to-end processes
- Must be proficient in English (both written and spoken)
