About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Mentor and support a team of contract sales professionals
- Conduct monthly 1-on-1s and performance reviews
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Represent the contract sales team’s voice within the broader organization
- Align regional sales strategies with company goals
- Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities
- Guide representatives in developing and refining quarterly strategic plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Logistics, CX, and Design teams
- Lead initiatives such as national sales meetings and onboarding programs
- Track budgets and timelines to ensure project success
- Promote transparent communication across teams and stakeholders
- Drive sales performance, develop a high-performing team, and strengthen relationships with designers, architects, end users, and industry partners across the region
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of sales experience, including 4+ years leading high-performing sales teams
- Must be based in Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX
- Deep understanding of the North American commercial market
- Proven ability to hire, train, and manage diverse teams, including remote roles
- Ability to align sales strategies with business goals and drive measurable growth
- Skilled in managing deadlines, budgets, and compensation plans
- Comfortable with Microsoft applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Confident and compelling presentation skills in front of clients, teams, and stakeholders
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% annually to key markets and events
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and work with CX, Marketing, Logistics, and Design teams
