About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitoring volumes and identifying potential needs for preventative maintenance
- Maintaining field meters to inform the Company and customers about pipeline flows and pressures
- Performing complex calibration, troubleshooting, and repair tasks
- Handling discrepancy identification and resolution (L&U, quality shifts, etc.)
- Training and mentoring of new or less skilled employees
- Measuring high and low pressure gathering systems
- Installation, programming, and calibration of Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) computers
- Calculating volume rates and size orifice plates to set flow rates
- Collecting gas and liquid samples
- Installing, operating, and maintaining gas and liquid sampling systems
- Installing, programming, maintaining, and calibrating portable and stationary gas chromatographs
- Scheduling, completing, and witnessing flow tests on wells using open flow orifice meters and portable meter runs
- Routine inspecting, calibrating, and repairing of meter and associated equipment (meter tube/plates, ultrasonic meter, Coriolis meters, and flow computers)
- Routine inspecting, maintaining and repairing of communications equipment and sampling system
- Performing product composition and quality sampling and testing
- Working autonomously at varying times and in diverse weather conditions, at remote field locations
- Participating and successfully completing training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy
- Reviewing and following procedures as necessary to ensure compliance with all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements
- Accurately completing documentation such as timesheets, Testit work orders, safe job plans/work permits, and regulatory reports
- Optimizing work in the most effective (efficient and leveraging priority) manner, in alignment with the Maintenance Work Process (MWP) and within the tenets of S.A.F.E. and Stop Work Authority
- Maintaining facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices
- Effectively utilizing tools and test equipment as needed
- Responding to operational emergencies as a member of an emergency response team
- Performing and accurately documenting regulatory required inspections
- Overseeing contractors providing specialty services (Quality Assurance, Quality Control)
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting process controls and regulation
- Maintaining and troubleshooting condensate Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) equipment
- Maintaining and operating measurement Orifice meters tube and Ultrasonic tubes
- Witnessing LACT skid proving
- Installing and maintaining radio communications on EFM

Requirements
What you’ll need- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 1 or more years of experience in oil and gas industry or similar field
- Willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform/comply with the following:
- Live (or relocate) within 60 miles of the reporting location and handle occasional unexpected call-outs as needed
- Work overtime as needed
- Travel regularly between multiple work locations using a company vehicle to support site operations
- Regularly stoop, squat, kneel, and crouch for durations up to 30 minutes
- Frequently lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally exert pulling force of 130 pounds
- Periodically pull/push doors open
- Occasionally climb A-frame ladders
- Work inside plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity
- Work at times in a loud work environment
