About the role

  • Define and drive the architectural modernization and cloud migration of a mission-critical healthcare platform
  • Lead the architectural transformation of a complex backend system
  • Enable cloud adoption, improved reliability, scalability, and long-term platform evolution
  • Work closely with backend engineering teams, DevOps, security, product management, and technical leadership
  • Act as a technical authority and mentor while influencing cross-functional architectural decisions
  • Shape long-term cloud strategy, mentor senior engineers, and drive innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
  • 7+ years in backend software engineering (architecture, infrastructure, networking, reliability)
  • Proven experience as Software Architect with hands-on experience driving the architecture modernization
  • Hands-on experience migrating complex on-prem systems to AWS
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability design
  • Experience with C++, C#, Java in enterprise systems
  • Practical experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, messaging systems
  • Deep understanding of relational databases (preferably Oracle)
  • Experience with system reliability, performance tuning, and observability
