Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or other engineering disciplines
  • experience in medical devices, acoustic systems, or precision electro-mechanical products
  • familiarity with medical device quality systems (ISO 13485), regulatory requirements, and design control processes preferred
  • strong skills in mechanical design and reliability principles (DFSS, DFMEA, DFM, GD&T)
  • experience with hardware/software interfaces and thermal modeling preferred
  • proficiency with CAD and FEA tools (Creo/ProE, SolidWorks, Ansys Classic/Workbench)
  • direct experience with ultrasound transducers, acoustic stacks, or sensor packaging is a plus
  • hands-on prototyping and precision assembly experience is a plus
  • must be able to successfully perform physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements
