About the role
- Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and prototypes for new ultrasound transducers
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers for integrated product solutions
- Utilize CAD software for circuit and PCB design
- Conduct feasibility studies for new technologies and product concepts
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
- Perform laboratory experiments and simulations to validate concepts
- Design and execute test plans to ensure product reliability, safety, and compliance
- Analyze test data and iterate designs to resolve issues
- Work with quality assurance to meet regulatory and industry standards
- Team up with production, marketing, and sales departments to align product features with customer needs
- Support documentation for manufacturing handoff and regulatory submissions
- Seek ways to enhance existing product lines for reliability, cost, and performance
- Remain updated on latest trends and best practices in electrical engineering
Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Master’s Degree, preferred
- 3+ years of experience in electrical or electronic engineering
- strong skills in electrical design principles, circuit fundamentals, analog/mixed-signal and digital designs
- experience in design reliability techniques such as DFSS, Risk Analysis, DFMEA, and DFM
- familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., eMatrix, Windchill, SAP, Agile)
- proficient in electrical CAD tools (e.g., DxDesigner, Cadence, Altium)
- excellent communication, technical writing, and collaboration skills
