About the role

  • Transform consumer insights into strong product concepts and experiences for launch.
  • Create sketches, early volume models, CAD files, CMF directions, and production-ready specifications.
  • Work closely with senior designers in Amsterdam and collaborate with engineers, researchers, brand teams, and suppliers across China and Europe.
  • Apply and evolve Philips Avent’s Design Language System, ensuring globally consistent, high design quality.
  • Support design-for-manufacturing and guide implementation in partnership with local engineering teams safeguarding design quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product design with a proven track record in consumer products and concept-to-execution design.
  • Strong sketching, visualization, and storytelling ability.
  • Proficiency in CAD (Rhino or SolidWorks) and excellence in form development.
  • Ability to apply design language systems, brand values, and CMF guidelines to create designs ready for launch.
  • Experience in user research, benchmarking, and insight translation to create user-centered design solutions.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working across disciplines and cultures.
