About the role
- Professional Land Surveyor role supporting Phasor Engineering's growing operations in the southern United States
- Candidate must be licensed in Texas and Louisiana and willing to get licensed in additional states
- Explore work-from-home or hybrid work scenarios with applicants
- Manage all aspects of project execution including communication protocols, change management, data/reporting, and cost controls
- Liaise with Phasor personnel to understand project scheduling, cost, technical and logistic requirements
- Manage subcontractors performing geomatics work and oversee crew schedules, accommodations and mobilization
- Participate in division meetings to coordinate crew allocation and perform general business development within the Southern US
- Use advanced geomatics technology (GPS, terrestrial scanners, drones, helicopter LiDAR) on power infrastructure projects
- Phasor Engineering is a Quanta Services subsidiary focused on spatial services for electric power and infrastructure projects
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Texas
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Louisiana
- Willing to obtain additional state licenses (costs covered by Phasor)
- Project/Regional management experience including establishing communication protocols, change management, data/reporting systems
- Experience managing project financials, cost controls, and risk reviews
- Experience liaising with technical, scheduling, cost, and logistics stakeholders
- Experience managing subcontractors and field crews (Crew Chiefs and Survey Assistants)
- Experience with scheduling, accommodations and mobilization
- Participation in division-level resource allocation and business development in Southern US
- Previous transmission line experience considered an asset
