Executive Director, Industrial Operations
PharmathenExecutive Director managing industrial operations at Pharmathen's Attica sites. Leadership role with focus on strategic manufacturing and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical sector.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow Company's Quality Policy and comply with current operational standards and legislative requirements
- Work in accordance with the requirements of the written Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Directives and Protocols of the company's Quality System
- Follow the rules of hygiene and control of health status as defined in the relevant Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- Provide strategic direction for the planning, development, and execution of manufacturing strategies across Attica sites, ensuring long‑term operational scalability and alignment with business growth objectives
- Implement strategies for effective capacity planning to meet current and future production demands
- Oversee Maintenance, Engineering, and Materials Management to ensure seamless integration of all functions
- Develop and manage plant’s operating and capital expenses and headcount
- Actively coordinate and participate in audits from clients and regulatory authorities
- Lead manufacturing excellence by setting expectations, approving priorities, and sponsoring continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with Quality Assurance leadership to ensure robust quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous enhancement of product quality standards
- Oversee Supply Chain team to achieve daily production requirements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and requirements
- Mentor, and develop site’s managers and team leaders to a high-performing operations team
- Foster a collaborative professional growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; MBA is Advantageous
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing; at least 5 years of experience in leadership roles within pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
- Proven track record of successful operational management and process improvement
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term planning and execution
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
