About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Invoicing and Accounting departments (approximately 15 employees in total)
- Consistently develop planning, controlling and KPI-based management with the clear goal of providing a transparent basis for well-founded business decisions
- Question existing processes and develop new workflows and tools
- Lead, coach and develop managers and teams
- Take on and drive digitalization projects in collaboration with our IT department
- Prepare and present decision papers
- Create process documentation and analyses
- Handle and monitor payment transactions and dunning/collections
- Support monthly and annual financial closings
- Occasionally represent the commercial managing director (e.g., during vacation or business travel)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field
- Several years of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting
- Experience in process analysis and process optimization
- Experience with a leading ERP system (e.g., MS Dynamics, SAP) and/or DATEV
- Willingness to take responsibility and drive initiatives
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify potential improvements and opportunities
- Hands-on mentality combined with a pragmatic approach
- Structured and precise working style
- Excellent command of MS Office
