About the role
- You will work in a team of technicians to plan and install merchandise management systems (inventory/ERP), including the necessary devices, components, and networks.
- You will acquire knowledge in setting up, configuring/migrating, and monitoring server and client systems, peripheral devices, and LAN (Local Area Network) networking.
- You will be trained to identify, analyze, and resolve faults to ensure the continuous operation of IT systems.
- You will learn to advise customers, communicate technical solutions, and handle support requests to resolve IT issues effectively.
- You will contribute to projects and learn how to plan, execute, and document them.
Requirements
- A solid secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss) or equivalent with a technical focus
- Good grades in mathematics, German, and English
- A strong interest in IT
- Willingness to work in a team and enjoyment of collaborative work
- Technical curiosity, strong analytical ability, and a quick aptitude for learning
- Commitment and the ability to work independently
- Enthusiasm for working with computers and peripherals
