About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Designing and executing manual and exploratory tests across web and mobile platforms
Testing APIs and integrations to ensure services interact correctly and data flows reliably across systems
Creating and maintaining test cases, test plans and supporting documentation to ensure strong coverage of functional requirements
Investigating issues, raising defects clearly in Jira and working closely with engineers to support resolution
Collaborating with developers and product managers in Agile squads to identify risks early and improve quality throughout the development process
Supporting regression and release testing to help ensure stable deployments
Contributing to automation testing and supporting the continued adoption of modern testing practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience testing modern web applications and service-based systems
Comfortable performing both manual and exploratory testing
Experience working in Agile delivery environments and enjoy collaborating with engineers and product teams
Experience managing defects using tools such as Jira
Exposure to tested APIs using tools such as Postman
Exposure to automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or similar
Familiar with applications built using TypeScript or modern web frameworks such as React
Exposure to or interest in performance testing using tools such as k6
Strong understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance practices
Awareness of CI/CD workflows and development tooling such as Azure DevOps
Interested in continuing to develop your skills in automation testing and modern quality engineering practices
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
