As Director of Brand Creative, you will be the steward of Phantom’s visual identity and storytelling. You’ll set the creative vision and standards that bring our mission to life across go-to-market campaigns, social, partnerships and more. Leading a team of talented brand and motion designers, you’ll inspire and mentor them to execute at the highest level while maintaining consistency, clarity, and originality.
This role is ideal for a creative leader who thrives at the intersection of finance and culture, someone who can make a crypto brand feel both trustworthy and aspirational.
Define and evolve our brand’s creative strategy, ensuring it differentiates us in the crypto and consumer finance space.
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of brand designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional development.
Oversee the creative development and production of campaigns, product launches, brand activations, and content across digital, social, and offline channels.
Build and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring visual and verbal alignment across product, marketing, and communications.
Partner with marketing, product, comms, and leadership to align brand creative with business objectives and user insights.
Bring forward fresh ideas, cultural relevance, and breakthrough creative that builds trust while making crypto approachable to a mainstream audience.
Use feedback, insights, and performance data to refine creative strategies and deliver impact at scale.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in brand creative and design leadership, ideally in consumer finance, fintech, crypto or consumer tech.
A visionary creative thinker with a strong portfolio demonstrating brand-building, campaign execution, and cross-channel design.
Proven experience managing and scaling high-performing creative teams.
Expertise across design disciplines (brand identity, digital, motion, campaign, and content).
Strong grasp of cultural trends, with the ability to translate them into brand-relevant creative.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, you can inspire both your team and executive stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
Experience in crypto, a crypto-native mindset or demonstrated interest in decentralized ecosystems.
