Identify potential high-risk areas
Ensure adherence to all state and authorizer regulatory reporting requirements
Expertise in Michigan Department of Education state reporting procedures and requirements
Strong knowledge of county audit processes
Experience evaluating district and academy compliance
Demonstrated experience conducting internal audits
Proficiency in analyzing SIS data and internal controls
Experience managing PowerSchool SIS data
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to monitor updates to state regulations and apply changes
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills
Ability to multitask and exercise sound judgment
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
