About the role

  • Partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to design, develop and maintain Power Platform, Dataverse, Power BI, Autosys JIL, Python, Powershell/Batch scripts, Windows Servers infrastructure.
  • Code, test and debug new and existing applications.
  • Implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers.
  • Develop strategic and tactical solutions for complex business challenges promptly, ensuring code follows latest coding practices and industry standards.
  • Engage in development using technologies such as Power Platform, Dataverse, PowerBI, Jira, Autosys JIL, Batch/Perl/Powershell scripts, Excel, SQL, Python, Oracle, SQL Server, Bit Bucket, and programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript.
  • Analyze system requirements of existing solutions to modernize the tech stack and remove technical impediments.
  • Collaborate with product owners to understand needs and define feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design, and other team members to deliver robust solutions with significant business impact.
  • Write unit, integration tests, and functional automation, addressing problems discovered by quality assurance or product support.
  • Design automated testing to ensure system functionality aligns with scalable business requirements.
  • Design and develop custom solutions for system changes, including full stack applications.
  • Lead large cross-functional projects supporting company initiatives and mentor junior staff.
  • Prepare communications and presentations on system solutions and enhancements.
  • Take ownership of production issues, analyzing and collaborating with relevant areas for resolution.
  • Bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide input, coach team members, and embed learning and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred majors include Management Information Systems, Business Analytics and Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, Economics.
  • Essential full stack development experience.
  • Power Platform, Dataverse, PowerBI, Oracle, SQL Server Cognos, .NET, Java, Python, Powershell, Batch, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL, Cloud native development, Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Connectors, and related tools is preferred.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and familiarity with the Software Development Life-Cycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
  • Able to troubleshoot production issues in the platforms mentioned in a timely manner, and collaborate with technical team members and business team members.
  • Provide off hours production support on a rotational basis and during special events.
